First morning urine sample is preferred. If you still have regular periods, perform the first test in the first week of your cycle (days 2–7). If the result is negative, repeat a second test one week later. If your periods have become irregular, test at any time and repeat one week later.
Procedure
1. Bring the pouch to room temperature and remove the test cassette. 2. Place the cassette on a clean, level surface. 3. Hold the dropper vertically and transfer 3 drops of urine to the sample well (S), avoiding air bubbles. 4. Read the result at 5 minutes. Do not interpret after 10 minutes.
Result interpretation
POSITIVE: T line same as or darker than C line — elevated FSH. NEGATIVE: T line lighter than C or no T line — FSH not elevated. Interpretation: Both tests positive = most likely perimenopausal. One positive, one negative = may be early perimenopause. Both negative = most likely not perimenopausal this cycle. INVALID: No C line — repeat test.
